our mission
Our mission is to provide professional support and assistance to the handicapped suffering from emotional and intellectual dysfunctions as well as to their families.
The main activities of the PBTA, as set out by the statute, include:
- to provide professional support and assistance to the handicapped suffering from the emotional and intellectual dysfunctions and their families, and to initiate and carry out all kinds of activities necessary for the improvement of health of the handicapped and their adaptation into society;
- to provide trainings, publications, seminars and conferences, aiming at dissemination of knowledge on ideas and rules of the behavioral therapy,
- to encourage society at large to act for the sake of the handicapped and develop the mutual aid movements of people connected with them, by supporting, for example, social initiatives aiming at the improvement of the conditions of life of the handicapped;
- to provide professional assistance and coaching to therapists, teachers, parents and other people working for the sake of the handicapped.
